This policy covers the Fadez 2 Riches Barber Supply website. It describes what this site actually does, not what a generic template says a site might do.
Information you give us
This site collects information at a few points, always from something you typed in yourself:
- Contact and order forms. Name, shop name, email address, phone number and whatever you write in the message field. Used to answer you and to arrange the order.
- Checkout. When you pay by card, your name, email, phone and delivery details are collected by our payment processor, Square, on its own secure payment page. We never see or store your card number.
- Email signup and cart follow-up. If you enter your email in the newsletter box or in the cart, we save that address, and if you have items in your cart at the time, what is in it. This is what lets us send you a reminder if you leave without finishing an order, and stock and pricing updates if you sign up for our list. Every marketing message carries an unsubscribe link.
Text messages (SMS)
Fadez 2 Riches Barber Supply LLC texts you only if you tick a consent box on our order or contact form yourself. Those boxes are never pre-ticked, and there are two of them: one for texts about your order or enquiry, and a separate one for promotional texts. You can agree to either, both or neither.
When you opt in we collect your mobile number, the date and time you agreed, and which kind of texts you agreed to. We use that only to send the messages you asked for and to keep a record of your consent.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to any message to stop texts at once. Agreeing to texts is never a condition of buying anything. Full program details are in our SMS terms.
Payment information
No card details are collected on this site. Card payment is handled entirely by Square on its own hosted payment page, and only Square ever sees your card number. We receive confirmation that an order was paid, the amount, and the order contents.
Cookies and tracking
Cookies. This site does not set its own cookies. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may set a strictly necessary security cookie to block bots and abuse; it holds no personal profile and is not used for advertising. When you pay by card, Square's payment page sets its own cookies to process and protect that payment, under Square's privacy policy.
Browser storage. Your cart, recently viewed products and whether you have already seen our signup popup are saved in your own browser's local storage, so your cart survives a page refresh. That stays on your device unless you also give us your email, at which point the cart contents tied to that email are sent to our system as described above. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
Tracking. We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, retargeting or cross-site trackers, and we do not sell browsing data. The only outside request is for web fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google receives the request for those font files as part of serving them. Once you give us your email, we do record the cart contents linked to it in our own order and customer management system so our team can follow up about an order or a subscription.
Who sees your information
Staff who need it in order to answer you, fulfil your order, or follow up about an order you started but did not finish. We do not sell your information, rent it, or hand it to advertisers. It is processed by our payment processor (Square) and our order/customer management system in order to do this. It may also be shared with a delivery service where that is required to get your order to you, and with authorities where the law requires it. None of this applies to your mobile number or text consent, which are covered by the text messages section above and are never shared.
How we protect your information
Every page and form on this site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, so what you type travels to us encrypted. Card numbers never touch our systems at all, because Square handles payment on its own PCI-compliant page. Contact details, order records and text consent records are stored in our password-protected customer management system, and only staff who need them to serve you have access. No method of storing or sending data is completely secure, but we use reasonable safeguards and will tell affected customers promptly if a breach ever exposes their information.
How long we keep it
Enquiry and order records are kept as long as needed to service your account and to meet tax and accounting obligations. Email subscribers are kept until they unsubscribe.
Your choices
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Contact us and we will act on it. Unsubscribing from email and replying STOP to texts both take effect immediately.
Children
This is a trade supply site intended for adults. Our text message program is open only to people 18 or older, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it.
